Finding peace while you fight Racism

Really? Finding peace while you fight…?

Yes. I am learning that in my fight against racism,( and other things I fight for in this life); peace may be one of the best weapons I could possibly have. Peace helps me rest, peace gives me focus, peace helps me reflect not just on the actions of others, but also on my own actions.

Peace in this case to me can be as simple as: knowing when and how to let go to let go, even for a moment; opening my wings to let the wind carry me to the place where I wish to be; knowing that tomorrow is another day, I can still fight then… (so tonight I sleep).

But most of all, leaving the door open for love to walk in, even while I sleep.

What do you think?
