‘Apostrophes’: Nikole Hannah-Jones on Race, Education and Inequality, at Longreads Story Night

So where do I start as a parent? Do I move my ”D’Leisha” to more integrated school? Do I change her name? Or do I do something about a system that is clearly designed to fail such a brilliant child?

Should I just attempt to do all these things? What are the odds?

But this is my most worrying thought: It is the year 2015, why am I still struggling with these questions?
